THE RONDO – COVID SAFE VENUE GUIDE
To allow us to bring you great performances safely, we all need to follow this COVID-Safe Venue Guide for ticketed performances.
Please note the following:
- All performances at The Rondo will follow the approved COVID Safe Industry Plan: Queensland Live Performance, Venues/Theatres and all Queensland Government guidelines.
- If you are unwell, please refrain from attending The Rondo in any capacity.
- If patrons do not comply with protocols, or authorised requests, they will be asked to leave immediately without refund or further recourse.
- If you are purchasing your tickets from Ticketlink, please refer to Ticketlink's Covid Safe Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are in addition to Ticketlink's regular Terms and Conditions, prior to purchasing tickets.
Queensland Government health restrictions now allow 100% capacity for indoor events, under certain terms and conditions.
While seated in the venue, the 1.5-metre distance between booking groups no longer applies, so it is essential you remain in your allocated seat for contact tracing purposes. When moving through our venue and using our facilities, please continue to practice social distancing.
Wearing a mask is recommended in situations where you may not be able to maintain physical distancing such as entering and exiting theatres or moving through areas where lots of people are gathered. Keep a mask with you, so that if you get into one of those situations, you have some added protection.
AT THE THEATRE:
On arrival at the theatre, you will be asked to register your attendance elecronically by providing your name, email or home address and contact telephone number via a QR code. This is to comply with QLD Health regulations. If you are unable to use the QR code, Ushers will be able to assist you to register.
Your data will be stored for 30 – 56 days before deletion, and will not be used for any other purpose.
Maintain social distancing
Keep 1.5 metres away from others where possible, including when arriving at the venue and queuing at the bar.
Alcoholic and soft drinks may now be taken into the theatre auditorium to avoid over-crowding in the bar. You may also enter theatre and take your seats from 7.15pm.
Contactless payment is preferred, but cash will be accepted.
Have your ticket ready
Have your ticket ready on your phone or your paper ticket and provide your seat numbers to the Ushers to avoid paper-handling.
Stay in your allocated seat and enjoy the show
You cannot sit where you like or move around.
Exiting the theatre
This will be staggered to avoid queuing. Please follow directions from the Ushers.
Follow instructions from the venue volunteers
This will ensure we can continue to present performances in the future.
