EXTRAS CASTING CALL IN CAIRNS

We are coming to Cairns next month to shoot a short film called ‘Asylum’. It tells the story of a conflict arising on Manus Island between an asylum seeker and the Australian guards after they confiscate his guitar. It is inspired by actual events, and developed with the oversight of asylum seekers who were detained on Manus.

I am reaching out to you as we are currently looking to cast local extras in the roles of asylum seekers and refugees.

We are seeking non-white males aged 18-80. No acting experience is necessary. We will be shooting on the 12th and 13th August.
