Collection of Tickets
Purchasers are asked to bring a printed or electronic copy of their ticket to show at the theatre doors upon entry. If purchasing tickets from the box office on the night of the performance patrons must allow adequate time for the transaction. In some circumstances late patrons may not be permitted to enter once the show has commenced.
Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification may be required for collection of tickets and at the event. The following concession cards are accepted: Seniors Card, Pensioner Card and Companion Card.
Refunds
CLT will only offer a refund of a ticket if an event is cancelled, rescheduled, or significantly relocated (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
CLT does not offer refunds as a result of a change in your personal circumstances, your dislike or dissatisfaction with the performance, your late attendance, where you are refused entry or evicted, or the use of an understudy.
You are not entitled to a refund if your ticket was free or complimentary.
If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by Cairns Little Theatre Inc, all liability is limited to the original amount for which the ticket was purchased (including any fees or charges).
Proof of purchase may be required for any refund. Cairns Little Theatre Inc will not be liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event, including any travel and accommodation expenses.
No refunds are available on any unused part of annual subscription packages.
CLT will contact the original Ticket purchaser to arrange any refunds or organise a ticket exchange to another performance.
Exchanges
Cairns Little Theatre Inc do not offer an exchange of a ticket for another ticket in the same production schedule nor for a Gift Certificate that can be used for a later production.
Conditions of Entry
These Conditions of Entry relate to all patrons, regardless of when and where tickets were purchased.
Admission to an event is subject to Cairns Little Theatre Inc’s Terms. In particular, the following form part of the group’s terms unless otherwise specified:
· You may be denied entry into, or removed from, an event where the group has reasonable grounds to do so, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions, or you are intoxicated, under the influence of illicit drugs, inappropriately attired, or adversely affecting the enjoyment of the event by others.
· If you arrive late, you may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event. Performances begin on time. Late seating will be made at an appropriate seating break, but could be several minutes into the performance. CLT reserves the right to deny patrons late entry for any performances in which entry has the potential to compromise audience or performer safety, or affect the artistic integrity of the performance.
· You may not use, cameras or other photographic or recording equipment (including mobile phones) in the auditorium.
· Management request that all mobile phones and other devices be turned off before entry.
· You may be required to submit to a search of your person and/or possessions before entering the event.
The auditorium opens approximately 20 minutes before performance commencement for seating.
Authenticity and Validity of Tickets
Entry to an event may be refused if the authenticity or validity of a ticket or receipt is questionable, including because the ticket has been damaged or defaced in any way, or has not been purchased from Cairns Little Theatre Inc.
If there are multiple parties attempting to enter a performance using the same ticket then the person who originally purchased the ticket will have precedence.
Accessible Seating
Limited seating is reserved for people with accessibility needs. Please book early if you require accessible seating as these seats are released for general admission 14 days prior to the performance. These seats must be booked over the phone on 0415 822 333 or in person at the theatre.
Ticket Prices and Discounted Tickets
Current ticket prices and discounts are displayed on CLT website and distributed promotional materials.
Senior citizen, pensioner, or student discounts are not available for Fringe productions.
Complimentary Tickets
1. Recipients of complimentary tickets may transfer those tickets to whomever they wish.
2. Any free or discounted ticket entitlements not used for the play for which they apply lapse and may not be transferred to another season.
Errors
While CLT takes all reasonable care to ensure that tickets are correctly priced and only available for sale when intended, sometimes errors may occur.
CLT may cancel an order made as a result of any such error, although in the case of a pricing error Cairns Little Theatre Inc will endeavour to contact you to give you the option of purchasing the ticket at the correct price.
