SYNOPSES

THE COMMITTEE by Ken Cotterill. Directed by John Hughes.

Peter Wellbourne has been on committees all his life, but when he finds himself retired and not on any specific committee he decides to form one. The committee has several keen, like-minded members but has no reason to exist. With no agenda and no real purpose to exist, the committee members busily get to work passing motions and forming various sub-committees. The result is a farcical and absurdist look at committees and those that relish being on them.

A BAG OF SWAG by Bob Hammond. Directed by Nader Sallam.

One dark night a cat burglar is confronted by a patrolling policeman. Can the burgler smooth talk his way out of this situation?

Will the policeman's suspicions be confirmed? And what's inside the bag?

GRAVY TRAINS by Ken Cotterill . Directed by John Hughes.

When politicians get booted out of office many seek solace in a ‘gravy train’. This is usually a job that they have lined up for themselves before the fatal election to secure their future. But in this political satire the gravy trains are actual trains controlled by an ordinary railway porter. As various trains arrive at the station with lurks and perks attached, the platform becomes busy with failed politicians seeking out that one, special gravy trains.
